This is a Kentucky straight wheated bourbon from the Bardstown Bourbon Company, part of its Origin Series. It was distilled and bottled on site in Bardstown, aged for six years and bottled at 53% (106 proof) in a 75cl bottle.
The mashbill contains 39% wheat, which gives the bourbon its 'High Wheat' name.
On the palate it is described as ripe apricot and lemon with leather and crème brûlée, followed by oak and pastry. The finish is full-bodied, lightly spiced and long.
