This Bardstown Bourbon is a collaboration with Foursquare, in a 75cl bottle. It is a blend of 7-year-old rye and 17-year-old bourbon, aged for a further 23 months in Foursquare rum barrels and designed to bring out Barbados flavour. It was ranked ninth in Whisky Advocate's Top 20 of 2023.
The nose combines plantain, toasted almond and clove with coconut, peanut, orange zest and raisin. The palate balances rye spice with aged oak, and the finish is full, with baked fruit, lingering spice and caramel sweetness.
