Bardstown Bourbon Origin Series High Wheat is a six-year-old straight wheated bourbon, bottled at 106 proof (53%). It was distilled, aged and bottled on the estate.
The mash bill is 53% corn, 39% wheat and 8% malted barley.
Ripe apricot and lemon sit alongside leather and crème brûlée on the nose. The palate is bold, with oak and pastry, and the finish is full-bodied and lightly spiced.
