Barolo DOCG Arborina - Magnum - Elio Altare (1.5L)

A Barolo from the Langhe in Piedmont, made from Nebbiolo grown in the Arborina vineyards. It is aged in oak barrels, giving structure and complexity. In the glass it is an intense garnet red, with aromas of faded roses, sweet spices, tobacco and balsamic notes. On the palate it is enveloping, with silky yet present tannins and long persistence. It suits Piedmontese dishes such as braised beef in Barolo or aged cheeses.
