Barolo DOCG Cannubi Marchesi di Barolo

A Barolo from the Cannubi vineyard, produced by Marchesi di Barolo. It has a bright garnet colour of medium depth. The nose offers ripe small red fruits, cherry and plum, discreet floral notes, delicate spice, light earthy tones and hints of undergrowth. The palate confirms a well-defined structure, present but not aggressive tannins and acidity that keeps freshness and drive, with good persistence and a slightly savoury finish with fruity and lightly almond notes. It pairs with structured meat dishes, braises, roasts, cured meats and aged cheeses; open in advance or decant briefly and serve around 16-18 °C.
