A Barolo from Domenico Clerico, with clear appearance and garnet colour with ruby reflections. The nose shows ripe red fruit, light spicy notes, floral hints, earthy and mineral nuances.
On the palate it has full body, well-present but still polished tannins, good balance between acidity and juiciness, and a long finish.
It pairs with red meats, braised dishes, savoury plates and aged cheeses. Serve around 18 °C; opening in advance or letting it breathe helps. It can be cellared further or enjoyed sooner for fresher notes.
