Barolo DOCG Riserva Broglio Schiavenza

A Barolo DOCG Riserva made exclusively from Nebbiolo, grown near Serralunga d'Alba on clay, silt and limestone soils. The grapes are harvested between mid and late October, fermented in steel and aged for 36 months in Slavonian oak casks. It has a garnet red colour with orange reflections. The nose shows faded rose and spicier notes from the wood ageing. On the palate it has good body, robust tannins and a powerful, energetic sip.
