Barolo DOCG San Lorenzo - Fratelli Alessandria

Barolo DOCG San Lorenzo is a red wine from Fratelli Alessandria, made from Nebbiolo. It shows floral characteristics typical of the grape, with an elegant and harmonious palate. Maceration and fermentation take place in temperature-controlled steel tanks for 25 days. Ageing lasts 3 years in oak barrels, followed by 2 months in steel and at least 6 months in bottle before release. The aromatic profile recalls citrus and medicinal herbs, with a warm, enveloping mouthfeel and a finish of sweet and spicy tones. It pairs well with game, meat dishes, roasts, grilled meats and aged cheeses.
