Barolo DOCG Sarmassa by Marchesi di Barolo is a red wine with a complex, measured aromatic profile. It shows an intense ruby colour, with ripe red fruit, violet and light earthy notes, plus subtle spice and balsamic hints. The structure is solid without excess, with present but integrated tannins and acidity that supports the sip to a long, clear finish. It pairs well with roast meats, braised and stewed dishes and aged cheeses. Serve around 16-18 °C and, if possible, decant before serving.
