Barolo DOCG Villero Giacomo Fenocchio

A Barolo from Giacomo Fenocchio, from the Villero cru in Castiglione Falletto. It is made exclusively from Nebbiolo and aged in large oak barrels, combining the aromatic richness of Nebbiolo with subtle wood notes. The wine is a typical Barolo garnet red, with orange reflections developing with age. The nose is intense and complex, with cherry, rosehip, spice, tobacco, leather and damp earth. On the palate it has solid structure, supported by vigorous but polished tannins and well-balanced acidity. Flavours of ripe fruit and spice evolve into a long, persistent finish with pleasant minerality. It suits rich dishes and can be enjoyed as a meditation wine.
