A Franciacorta Brut DOCG from Barone Pizzini. Chardonnay grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks, then the wine matures for six months in stainless steel before resting on the lees in bottle for 20-30 months. It is straw yellow with fine, continuous perlage. The bouquet combines delicate floral notes with ripe fruit, while the palate is fresh and well structured, with a balance of acidity and sweetness. The finish is persistent.
