Barrell 12 Year Old French Oak Finish is a bourbon blended from straight bourbons distilled in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee and Wyoming. It is finished in hand-selected French oak casks and bottled at 54.25% ABV.
The grains are corn, rye and malted barley. Expect pear brandy, cinnamon donut and toasted hazelnut, then nutmeg, allspice, clove and creamy vanilla, with leather, sandalwood and coffee cake on the finish. A splash of spring water brings out earthy notes of pipe smoke, truffle and old books.
