Barrell Bourbon Armagnac Cask Finish Series 7 Year Old (75cl)

Barrell Bourbon Armagnac Cask Finish is a 7 year old bourbon, in a 75cl bottle, finished in Armagnac casks. The blending team chose bourbon barrels to suit the dried fruit, burnt sugar, clove and tobacco character the Armagnac cask brings, and the bourbon is bottled at cask strength. The nose is dark and brooding, with a quick burst of pineapple, cola, caraway, pumpernickel, ginger beer and menthol, and dried fruits and nuts. The palate is syrupy and spicy, with pithy orange, hazelnut, black walnut, tobacco and chocolate-covered espresso beans. The finish carries clove, oolong tea, dried plum, pecan pie and custard.
