Barrell Bourbon Batch 037 Cask Strength (75cl, 55.7%)

Barrell Bourbon Batch 037 is a cask strength blend of straight bourbons, bottled without dilution at 55.69% (111.38 proof) in a 750ml bottle. Barrell Craft Spirits does not distil. It blends finished barrels from established distilleries, and this batch combines ten year old bourbon from Kentucky, eight, eleven and twelve year old bourbon from Indiana, and thirteen, fourteen and fifteen year old bourbon from Tennessee. The nose is oak forward, with caramel, dark fruit and baking spice over toasted nut. The palate is full, with caramel, brown sugar, dry oak and black pepper, and the finish is long and warming, closing on tannic oak and spice.
