Barrell Bourbon Triple Rum Cask Finish is a blend of whiskies from the United States and Canada, some of them aged for as long as 25 years, in a 75cl bottle.
Each whisky was finished separately in a rum cask from one of three Caribbean countries: Jamaica, Barbados or St. Lucia. The finished whiskies were then blended together.
The nose opens with orange flower water, buttercup, vanilla and a waxy side, moving to pineapple, passion fruit and strawberry. On the palate come matcha, rosehip, clove, sugarcane and molasses, then lychee, kiwi and honeydew melon. The finish brings pina colada, limestone and salt, with honeysuckle, lime zest and peanut butter.
