Barrell Craft Bourbon is a cask-strength blended straight bourbon in a 750ml bottle. Barrell Craft Spirits, founded in 2013 in Louisville, Kentucky, is an independent blender and bottler. It sources straight bourbons from distilleries in Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana. The bourbon is released in numbered batches, each with its own mashbill, age profile and strength. It is bottled at barrel proof and non-chill filtered. The nose combines dark chocolate, toffee, spiced orange and honey, with cardamom and ripe banana. The palate is rich and coating, with toffee, caramel, baking spice, dark fruit and peppery rye. The finish is long and warming, with toffee, oak char and spiced orange.
