A cask-strength bourbon blend from Barrell Craft Spirits of Louisville, bottled at 55.15% ABV without chill filtration. This annual edition combines 17 bourbons aged between 5 and 16 years, sourced from Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Wyoming, Maryland, New York and Ohio.
The mashbill is 74% corn, 21% rye, 4% malted barley and 1% wheat, though individual barrels may vary.
Peach, cherry, green apple and pomegranate open the nose, with pistachio and fresh herbs. The palate moves from tart apple and Meyer lemon to pumpkin bread, molasses, clove and nutmeg. The finish is long, with baking spices, roasted chestnut and dry oak tannins.
