Barrell Craft Spirits Bourbon Gold Label

Barrell Bourbon Gold Label is a blend of straight bourbons aged 16 and 17 years. The barrels came from four collections: cherry bomb barrels with a rich mouthfeel, nutty and oak-forward barrels, high proof and high complexity barrels, and barrels with pronounced milk chocolate notes. The milk chocolate group had a secondary maturation in toasted virgin American oak casks before blending. It is a fruity bourbon, with stewed and dried fruits from the long maturation. The toasted oak softens the profile, which stays gentle despite the high proof.
