Barrell Craft Spirits Decade is a cask-strength blend of Canadian whiskies, bottled at 71.35% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It carries a 20 year age statement, with components between 20 and 30 years old.
The whiskies were distilled in Canada in each consecutive year from 1995 to 2005, then blended and bottled in Louisville, Kentucky. Secondary maturation took place in Spanish brandy casks and Hungarian oak casks. It was launched in 2025 as part of the Black Label Series.
The tasting notes mention vanilla, caramel, and dried fruit such as raisins and figs, with toffee and cinnamon warmth. The texture is smoother and silkier than the strength suggests.
