Barrell Craft Spirits Decade 20 Year Old is a Canadian blended whisky, aged for twenty years and bottled at 71.35% ABV (142.7 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It is a limited release.
It is made from select grains and matured in Spanish brandy casks and Hungarian oak casks.
The nose is typically described as ripe stone fruit, baking spice, molasses, dried fig and cinnamon bark. On the palate come brandied cherries, dark toffee, stewed apples, roasted nuts and cocoa powder. The finish is long, with toasted oak, warming spice and dried fruit sweetness.
