Barrell Craft Spirits Gold Label 16 Year Old is a blend of 16- and 17-year-old straight bourbons, distilled in Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee and bottled in Kentucky at 56.77% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is bottled uncut and unfiltered.
The blend draws on four barrel collections: cherry bomb, nutty and oak-forward, high-proof and high-complexity, and milk chocolate. The chocolate barrels spent 18 months in toasted virgin American oak.
Dark cherry and milk chocolate lead, with toasted oak, roasted nuts and vanilla. The palate layers dried fruit over deep caramel, and the finish is long, warm and chocolatey.
