Barrell Gold Label Dovetail is a cask strength American whiskey blend, bottled at 70.09% in a 75cl bottle. It is made in the United States from stocks aged up to 25 years and finished in a range of specialty casks using the Dovetail method.
The nose begins with whiskey warmth and baking spice, then moves to strawberry rhubarb pie, toasted marshmallow and a touch of wintergreen. The finish brings tropical fruit and dessert-like sweetness, alongside nutty, leafy rancio notes.
