Hazmat Triple Rum Cask Finish is a high-strength whiskey from Barrell Craft Spirits, released in October 2025 as a limited edition and bottled in Kentucky at 71.12% ABV. It carries no age statement, though some of the barrels were aged for up to 25 years.
The component whiskeys were distilled in Indiana, Tennessee and Canada. Each was finished separately in its own rum cask, from Jamaica, Barbados and St. Lucia, before the blend was made.
The nose shows Jamaican rum funk with orange flower water, vanilla and wax, opening to pineapple and passionfruit. The palate brings matcha, clove, sugarcane and molasses, and the finish recalls piña colada with salt and lime zest.
