Barrell Gold Label Seagrass Rye is a cask strength American rye whiskey, blended from whiskeys sourced from several distilleries and bottled by Barrell Craft Spirits.
It is finished in three kinds of barrel: Madeira, toasted Sauternes and Cognac. That triple finish defines the Seagrass range, and Gold Label is its premium tier, sitting above the Gray Label release.
Madeira is associated with dried fruit, Sauternes with honey and stone fruit, and Cognac with brandy warmth.
