A cask-strength blend of straight bourbons from Barrell Craft Spirits, bottled at 59.11% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The whiskeys were distilled in Maryland and Indiana and are 5, 6, 9 and 16 years old.
The finishing casks give it its name. In 2018 Barrell aged Jamaican rum in peated Islay single malt casks, and once the rum was emptied, the seasoned barrels were filled with the bourbon blend.
Smoked marshmallow, sage and grilled peach mark the nose. The palate brings dark chocolate, espresso and malty richness, and the finish is long, with roasted malt, barrel char and mild peat smoke.
