Barrell Whiskey Decade #2 is a 20-year-old whisky in the Barrell Black Label Series, bottled at 141.3 proof (70.65% ABV) in a 750ml bottle. It was distilled in Canada, then crafted and bottled in Kentucky.
The blend draws on whiskies distilled in each year from 1995 to 2005, finished in Spanish brandy casks and Hungarian oak casks.
The nose has dark caramel, dried fruit, toasted oak and brandy-soaked cherry. The palate is bold and concentrated, with toffee, dark fruit, vanilla bean and oak spice. The finish is long, with oak, spice, dried fruit and brandy sweetness.
