Barrell Whiskey Dovetail Toasted is a limited release from Barrell Craft Spirits, in a 75cl bottle at 61.9% ABV (123.8 proof). It blends straight whiskeys distilled in Indiana and Tennessee.
The blend was finished in Rum, Port and California Cabernet casks, then given 33 months of secondary maturation in toasted American oak.
Caramelised sugar, vanilla bean and honeycomb come first, then dark cherry, fig and cocoa, with toasted hazelnut, baking spice and roasted marshmallow. The finish is long and warming, with leather, coconut, sweet tobacco and rich oak.
