Bas Armagnac 2006 Castarède (70cl)

Bas Armagnac from Castarède, distilled from grapes grown in the historic vineyards of the Gascon region. Slow distillation brings out earthy and fruity nuances typical of the grape variety. Ageing in oak barrels gives it a rounded character with notes of vanilla, dried fruit and sweet spices. It is soft and well balanced on the palate, with a long, warm finish. It can be enjoyed neat at room temperature, used in refined cocktails, or served as a digestif after a substantial meal, alongside chocolate or dried-fruit desserts.
