A Bas Armagnac from Christian Bergerot, distilled in 1990 from a careful selection of local wine lees in Gascony. Traditional vinification is followed by slow distillation in copper stills, then ageing in oak barrels represented by Sister Futs numbers 54 and 4. It shows enveloping notes of vanilla, sweet spices, dried fruit, toasted wood and honey.
On the palate it is soft and harmonious, with a long, warm persistence. It is suited to drinking neat after a meal and also pairs with chocolate desserts or aged cheeses.
