Basil Hayden's Golden Rye (75cl, 40%)

Basil Hayden's Golden Rye is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey, distilled at Jim Beam in Clermont and bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The mash bill is 100% malted rye, the same recipe as the Malted Rye it permanently replaces. It sits in the Versatility tier of the brand's new three-tier range, alongside the flagship bourbon, and is suited to cocktails such as the Basil Hayden 75. The brand's notes describe toasted rye, warm spice and delicate florals on the nose. On the palate come sweet vanilla, warm cinnamon and toasted rye bread, mellow and bright.
