Basil Hayden's Malted Rye Whiskey (75cl, 40%)

Basil Hayden's Malted Rye is a Kentucky rye whiskey made from a mash bill of 100% malted rye. It is bottled at 40% ABV and comes in a 75cl bottle. The malting gives a more subtle, mellow spice than the grain would otherwise show, along with delicate sweet and floral notes. The result is a softer, lighter style of rye. It is described as having a delicate floral aroma and soft notes of vanilla and toasted rye bread, followed by a light finish of chocolate and warm spice.
