Basil Hayden Subtle Smoke is a special release bourbon, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV). It was finished in new charred oak barrels that had been smoked with hickory, and it was distilled and bottled in Clermont, Frankfort, Kentucky.
The smoke is described as delicate, with campfire notes that bring out the maple sweetness and a soft char.
