Basilisco Rosso Teodosio Aglianico del Vulture DOC

An Aglianico del Vulture from Basilisco. It shows an intense ruby colour with violet reflections, with aromas of ripe red fruit, cherry and plum, earthy notes and balanced spice. The palate is savoury with present but well-integrated tannin, giving consistency without excess, while acidity keeps it fresh and easy to drink. It suits medium- and full-bodied dishes such as stews, red meats, roasts and aged cheeses. Serve cool but not cold, and let it breathe for a few minutes after opening.
