Beenleigh Rum 8yo Tawny Barrel Aged is an Australian rum from Queensland. It ages for eight years in tawny oak barrels, giving an intense amber colour and a rich bouquet. The nose carries vanilla, dried fruit, sweet spices, caramel, mature citrus and a lightly toasted note. On the palate it is soft, with a refined balance between natural sweetness and a pleasant spicy finish. It can be enjoyed neat, perhaps with an ice cube, or in sophisticated classic cocktails.
