A limited edition blended Scotch whisky from Bell's, made to mark the 90th birthday of Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother. It has a deep amber colour.
The nose is orchard fruit, apples and pears, with sherry-cask raisins and figs, then toffee and warming spice. The palate keeps the apples and pears, adding dark, syrupy sweetness, a subtle nuttiness and mellow oak spice of cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is long and sweet, with fruit and sherry carrying through, and a gentle, lasting warmth from the oak.
