Belle Meade Bourbon Cask Strength Reserve is a full-strength bourbon made for drinkers who want well-aged, higher-proof whiskey. It is built from barrels that were tasted individually and judged good enough for a single barrel release, but short of the proof needed for one. These barrels are batched with others chosen to raise the proof and bring out their flavour. Each small batch uses just seven barrels of high-rye whiskey, aged between 7 and 11 years.
