Ben Nevis – 10 Year Old 2012 Murray McDavid Benchmark UK Exclusive

This is a ten-year-old Highland single malt from Ben Nevis, bottled by Murray McDavid for its Benchmark series as a release for the United Kingdom. The spirit was distilled in 2012, matured in a Château Lafite Premier Cru Pauillac red wine barrique and bottled in 2023. The outturn was 311 bottles. The wine cask is described as adding dark berries, soft tannins, oak spice and red fruit, alongside the distillery's oily texture and subtle earthy notes.
