A 12 year old Ben Nevis, distilled in 2012 and matured in a single first fill bourbon hogshead. Just 287 bottles were produced, at 53% in a 70cl bottle.
The bourbon wood gives a bright, clean profile that lets the distillery's waxy, oily character come through clearly. Tasting notes describe gentle citrus, cereal sweetness and herbal warmth.
