A 23 year old Highland single malt from Ben Nevis, filled in 1999 into a well-charred bourbon hogshead and bottled by Limited at 50.1% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The cask gave 276 bottles, and the whisky has taken on a deep golden colour.
The nose offers toffee, walnuts and plum jam. On the palate come salted caramel, bread pudding with cinnamon, and wood spice. The finish is long, with sweet and savoury notes.
