This is a 24 year old Highland single malt from Ben Nevis, distilled in 1998 and aged for over 24 years in a single bourbon hogshead. It is bottled at cask strength, 45% abv, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is natural colour and non-chill filtered.
The nose offers honeycomb, sweet oak and pink grapefruit zest. On the palate come treacle tart, lemon curd and pear drops. The finish is long and zingy, with echoes of sweet oak continuing.
