This is a single cask Ben Nevis, a Highland single malt matured for 26 years. It was distilled in 1986 and bottled in 2012 by House of Macduff for its Golden Cask series. The whisky comes from one cask, and 111 individually numbered bottles were filled from it. Ben Nevis is known for a slightly waxy texture, and with age the spirit is described as showing fruit, malt and spice, with a subtle influence from the oak.
