A single cask Ben Nevis, distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2022 after seven years in an ex-sherry cask. Hidden Spirits released it as a UK exclusive of 271 bottles, at 54.3% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is waxy, with rich candied orange peel, straw, hessian, sap and barley sugar twists. The palate carries the waxy notes forward, with candied orange, soft lemon drizzle cake and rich toffee, and smooth, sweet spices. The finish stays sweet and waxy.
