Ben Nevis Coire Leis is a Highland single malt and an official distillery bottling, named after a small lake on Scotland's highest mountain. Water for the whisky runs down from the summit, filtered through peat and passing over granite and the rock formations around Coire Leis.
It matures entirely in first-fill bourbon casks and is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colour.
The character is oily and creamy, with pear, apricot, caramel and oak spice.
