Benbecula – Wheelhouse Cask No. 4 Prophecy

Wheelhouse Cask No. 4, named Prophecy, is a single malt from Benbecula Distillery. It offers a preview of the character and style that will define the distillery's whisky in future. It is a marriage of first-fill Oloroso sherry casks and first-fill American oak bourbon barrels, giving an island malt with rich sweetness, depth and a gentle, smoky coastal influence. Smoke and sea salt are described alongside layers of ripe fruit, floral notes and a lingering warmth.
