Benchmark Old No. 8 Bourbon (75cl)

Benchmark Old No. 8 is a Kentucky bourbon in a 750ml bottle. It is named after the benchmarks, the surveyor marks left in Kentucky by the McAfee brothers James, George and Robert, who set out from Virginia in 1773 and surveyed the land that now holds Buffalo Trace Distillery. The bourbon honours those early explorers. The nose offers caramel with a delicate stone-fruit backdrop. The palate is robust and sturdy, with fine leather, dry tobacco, a touch of oak and a hint of dried cherries. The finish is smooth and calming.
