Bendt No. 5 is an American blended whiskey made by Bendt Distilling Co. in Lewisville, Texas, bottled at 41.5% in a 750ml bottle.
It is distilled in-house from Texas grains and aged for four years in a 53-gallon bourbon barrel. The blend brings together five whiskeys made individually: bourbon, rye, malt, wheat and light whiskey.
The nose offers warm grain, toasted oak and soft caramel. Malt sweetness, gentle rye spice and mellow wheat show on the palate, leading to a smooth, lightly smoky finish.
