The Original Ten is Benriach's ten-year-old Speyside single malt, bottled at 43%.
It is matured in three types of cask: bourbon, sherry and virgin oak. Together they give layers of juicy fruit, honey and toasted oak, with a subtle hint of smoke.
The colour is a summer gold. The nose has fresh fruit, honey and toasted oak, and the palate brings ripe pears, nectarines and a malty sweetness. The finish carries almonds, lightly spiced vanilla and a little smoke.
