This is a single cask Speyside single malt from Benriach, selected by Master Blender Rachel Barrie. It was distilled on 28 March 2007 and bottled in 2024 at a natural cask strength of 63%, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky spent all 17 years in a single Sauternes hogshead. It is unpeated and part of the Cask Edition.
The profile is dessert-like, with honeyed apricot, poached pear and glazed peach, together with vanilla pod and toasted brioche. The finish is warming, with gentle oak spice and lingering citrus blossom sweetness.
