This is a 21-year-old single malt from the Speyside distillery Benriach, bottled in 2019 at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It matured in four types of cask: bourbon, PX sherry, virgin oak and red wine. It is not chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose offers ripe berries, honey, vanilla and toasted oak, with a hint of exotic fruit. The palate is full and velvety, with dark chocolate, spice, red fruit and a subtle oak note, leading to a long, soft, warming finish with sweet and spicy depth.
