Benriach The Smoky Ten is a Speyside single malt matured for at least ten years in bourbon barrels, Jamaican rum casks and toasted virgin oak. Peated and unpeated spirit are married after maturation, with the barley smoked over Highland peat, and it is bottled at 46% in its natural cask-imparted colour.
The nose is ripe orchard fruit syrup, smoked honey glaze and oak spice. On the palate come smoked applewood, honey maple and spiced pear, and the finish is lingering fruit and smoked oak.
